Michael Mershon

Michael has more than 20 years of experience in political communications, strategy and advocacy. Prior to joining TCWF, he served as director of advocacy and communications at Sojourners, a leading faith-based social justice advocacy organization in Washington.  He began his career as an intern in the office of U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA), where he rose to assistant press secretary.  He then spent 17 years as press secretary and senior advisor to U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA).
